Denver CEE Retreat Weekend Registration

- Camp St. Malo Retreat Center
- Pope John Paul II stayed at this picturesque facility in 1993 during World Youth Day. It is located just south of Estes Park, about 1.5 hours drive from Denver. The sleeping arrangements are two men or two women per room with private bath.
- Id-Ra-Ha-Je
- A Christian-based mountain camp whose name means, "I'd rather have Jesus than anything!" It is located less than an hour from Denver near Bailey. The sleeping arrangements are mens and womens dormatory-style rooms with bunk beds. Tobacco use is not allowed on site.
- YMCA of the Rockies, Estes Park Center
- Located 65 miles northwest of Denver within walking distance of Rocky Mountain National Park. The sleeping arrangements are three men or three women per room with private bath. There is one bunk and one full-sized bed in each room.
- John Paul II Center for the New Evangelization
- In 1996, inspired by the 1993 visit of His Holiness Pope John Paul II to Denver for World Youth Day, the Archdiocese of Denver announced that the former St. Thomas seminary would be renamed the "John Paul II Center for the New Evangelization." Currently, all ministries of the Archdiocese of Denver are headquartered on the John Paul II Center's campus, located at 1300 South Steele Street in Denver. Accomadations for retreats at this site are provided by the Staybridge Suites in Glendale.

NOTE: For logistical reasons, we have had to cancel the September 2008 weekend.
If you have already registered for this weekend, you will be contacted to discuss alternative options. Though no later retreats are expected to be planned for 2008, future 2009 dates will be planned in the fall of 2008. If you have an upcoming wedding and are planning to register for a future retreat, feel free to contact the registration couple listed below for further details.
Registration Process
Our current method of registration is the online registration form. There are two options for submission:
- Email the information given in the registration form to denvercee@yahoo.com
- Print out the registration form, fill it out and mail it to the address given on the form.
Please note that we cannot reserve a registration spot until payment has been made in full.
Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be provided for cancellations that occur two or more months before the registered weekend. No refund will be provided for cancellations less than two months before the registered weekend.
Scholarships
Scholarships are available for those who demonstrate financial need. Couples should inquire about assistance from the following in order:
- Parish preist and/or parish family life organization
- Archdiocese Office of Marriage and Family Life
- Denver Catholic Engaged Encounter (form)
